GBTU 2013 Entrance Exam (Now, MTU Noida SEE 2013) to have single paper in exam.

It's a good news for students , who would be appearing for the GBTU State Entrance Exam UPSEE-2013 will have a sigh of relief. ( UPSEE on 20th and 21st April 2013 )

The entrance examination, which is likely to be scheduled during the third week of April, will now be a single paper.

Earlier, the exam was conducted in two shifts. In the first shift, the students attempted the questions of physics and chemistry, while the second paper was of mathematics.

The two exams were of two and half hours each. This time, the duration of the exam will be three hours and will contain 150 questions from all the three subjects.

Confirming about the change, pro V-C, Gautam Buddh Technical University, VK Singh said, "This will help us in saving time. Also presenting all three subjects in one paper will help in speedy evaluation."

The decision to go for a single paper entrance was taken in a recent meeting under the presence of Maha Maya Technical University V-C, Prof S Kak, and other GBTU officials involved in conducting the entrance exam.

SEE-2013 counselling process change:

Another change would be seen in the GBTU 2012 entrance exam (Now, MTU Noida SEE 2013) counselling process. There would be 100 verification centres all over the state, where the candidates can get their documents checked after paying the requisite fee.

They will then be given a password with which they can fill the college option from anywhere they want. "They need not to come to the particular verification centre for filling up the choice. This will decrease the rush at the centres and make the process more transparent," said Singh.
